Investigators: Allie, Alisha, and Sandy Equipment: Digital voice recorders, EDI+ meter, Mel Meter, K2 meter, SB11 and SB7 Spirit Boxes, motion detectors, REM pod History: This is the first home built on this property. Prior to the building of the house the land was part of an adjacent farm. We noted a tragic local historical event did take place near this property. In the early 1900s, a flash flood took the lives of several people nearby. Current residents of the home have a rich family history and possess many family heirlooms and antiques in the home. Claims: Phantom smells, banging and movement upstairs, dark free floating mist, disembodied voices/singing, client has felt tapping near head at night. |
Audio evidence
In a downstairs bedroom all three investigators hear a male disembodied voice during the investigation. Investigators are asking about who makes the sounds upstairs.
The audio recorder is sitting on a dresser in the downstairs bedroom. Even though there are no investigators near it, it sounds as if there is tapping right nest to the recorder.
While conducting a Spirit box session in the downstairs bedroom and speaking about one of the clients and his experiences a male comes across saying, "He likes me."
Shortly after starting the investigation we catch a female humming on the downstairs audio recorder.
In an upstairs bedroom the investigators noticed there were several mirrors facing each others. Investigators theorized that this could be a possible entry point for spirits and decided to address the subject in a Spiritus session. We get a "yes" response, when asked.
The next three pieces of evidence are related to a reading the client had with a local psychic medium. The client was told by the medium that there was a possible Native American spirit that may be causing activity in the home. The investigators were trying to determine if there was any validity in that claim. In the first clip the investigators are on a break discussing the issue of trying to communicate to a Native American spirit in English and whether or not they would know English. A female voice interjects and appears to say "Do know it."
The following two pieces of audio are from the same Spiritus session. First, investigators ask whether a Native American woman is in the house and receive a "she is" and "yep." Next they ask if she is upstairs and again receive a "yes" response.
The final piece of evidence was caught on two separate audio recorders and seems to be a child's voice. We don't know exactly what it's saying but it almost sounds as if it says "what room."
Findings: It is our belief that there is nothing in the home for this family to be concerned about or that means any of the family members harm. It appears there may be several different spirits within the home either connected to the land itself (possible Native American) or objects within the home. They also may be experiencing the phenomenon of spirits "passing through" due to the mirror set up in the upstairs bedroom. We have suggested a rearrangement of the mirrors to see if activity changes. Investigators also suggested that the family set some ground rules for whatever might be in the home and voice those together. It is our belief that with some expectations this family can cohabitate with whatever is in their home.
